Is it legal to ride in a 5th wheel trailer?
I am travel for 9 hours in a full truck. I was wondering if it is legal to ride in the 5th wheel trailer we are towing. We are not crossing any country borders, but we are crossing a provincial border. There are no seatbelts in the 5th wheel but the chances of being pulled over are slim. Is it legal to ride in the trailer?
Note: this is important, I am leaving tommorow
I will be riding from Alberta, Canada to somwhere in BC, Canada.

A crappy as it sounds, it isn’t. I have to rtavel this weekend in a full truck 3 hours t osouthern Sask. Although it stinks, you cannot legally ride in a fifth wheel.
yes
I would guess that it is, but most Mounties don’t give a crap.
Not in the U.S.
ya i heard it’s legal as long as the driver has communication with the people in the trailer. bring a couple 2 way radios you should be fine.
It IS illegal, let alone dangerous, to have passengers in any trailer that is being towed… whether it is an open trailer or a travel trailer/fifth wheel.
If the towing vehicle was ever involved in an accident, anyone riding in the trailer could be seriously hurt or killed. And don’t expect your insurance to cover that !
It is illegal in most states and provinces.
Trailer Life Directory gives a list of what is and what is not legal in each state and province.
