Issue by cindy1323: When trailering bikes, one keeps tipping & acquiring harmed. What am I undertaking wrong?
I have a toy hauler exactly where a single bike goes in front of yet another. We put the sportster in front simply because it is narrower, lighter and fits inside of the space permitted. The softtail is wider and a foot longer, so it has to go guiding the sporty. We have bought new, very good, ratcheting tie downs, but somehow the softtail often appears to shift, creating damage (the bikes are close together). This final time, the wheel shifted and the fender received scraped once more. We can not chock the front tires, simply because the trailer is a journey trailer and do not want to bolt a chock down to the flooring in the residing location. This is getting irritating (and pricey!). Any recommendations? This only transpires with the greater bike. more...
