Issue by emmanuelanil: What is an RV Sewer Hook up? Can the RV be hooked to the sewer line by means of out the camping length?
I am renting an RV for the very first time and need some advise. How typically do we have to empty the tanks (Black & Grey h2o tanks, 55g). We are renting a course Do (30ft) RV for eight grown ups, I am worried if we have to maintain emptying the tanks each now and then? I am told, there are these Sewer Hook ups accessible at camp grounds. These sewer lines remain hooked up to the RV all by way of the night time until early morning? In that case, I am fine, since we can can do the shower, do the morning chores, use the toilet and so on whilst the sewer is immediately hooked up to the sewer lines, and when absolutely everyone are empty and fresh, we can unhook the lines and generate off. Even so, if it is like, hook to the sewer lines, empty the tank and move your motor vehicle for other individuals in line (Just like how we pump gasoline at a fuel station), and repeat the cycle every single time the tank will get total, then I have my function reduce out I guess…? Please advise. more...

The previous point I would like to know is if any individual has suggestions for in which to get a class c rv. i have looked at ebay and web sites like that and dealerships. I was pondering if any individual had distinct experiences, or if you know any individual obtaining rid of one particular. Okay So I after thinking about the cheapest way for wherever to live and what to live in to be ready to educate and work aspect time, I determined to purchase an older RV price tag ranging 3000-4000$ making an attempt to get the very best for my money. I identified a couple for sale and was questioning if they are offering at a good value. more...

Query by Leftyizme: Towing Capability- 2001 Dodge Ram 1500?
I have just obtained a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 standard cab, long bed pickup. It has a 5.2L and automated, and also a factory tow bundle.
It has a three.55:1 rear, trans cooler, bigger radiator, and oil cooler.
What is the maximum towing potential for this truck? The guide states seven,800lbs. but the GCWR just isn’t higher adequate to help that claim.
I have a 31ft. travel trailer that I need to tow with it, the trailer weighs six,300lbs completely loaded, and is a bumper pull.
The truck also has a Class IV hitch rated at ten,000lbs, and the truck currently has an electrical brake controller.
Thanks more...

Question by c_kayak_fun: Class ll towing: Ford Ranger pickup or Volvo 850?
We recently bought a small travel trailer, single axle, 2350 lbs. dry weight. We’re pulling out the upper bunks and won’t be loading too much in it so I expect even with the water tanks filled it will be under 2500 lbs. My boyfriend’s older 5-speed 4-banger Toyota pickup really strains pulling it so I was going to either get a Class II hitch for my ’95 Volvo 850 Turbo wagon (220 hp with a tow rating of 3600 lbs) or buy a 2003 Ford Ranger pickup, 5 speed 3.0L V6. But I notice the Ranger is only around 185 hp and the tow rating is only about 2500 lbs (5 speeds are rated lower for towing than automatics but I still prefer a stick). more...

But I notice the Ranger is only around 185 hp and the tow rating is only about 2500 lbs (5 speeds are rated lower for towing than automatics but I still prefer a stick). more...

Query by TVC15: Can I tow a journey trailer that weighs 5180 lbs (UVW) with a Jeep Grand Cherokee inline V-6 / four. motor?
I have a 26′ Forest River Grand Surveyor camper that weighs 5180 uvw. My Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD has a tow potential of five,000 lbs with a class four hitch. I also have a weight distribution package deal and also electric brakes, I was just asking yourself will this be also much excess weight to have securely with this sort of motor vehicle.
I got my data from this site on the tow potential of the Jeep: more...
