I have a early version 2005 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. It has a seller installed following industry hitch (class 3). I just found out that the highest towing capacity is only 3,500 lbs. I have a 29′ journey trailer that weighs six,800lbs. My problem is: Will my 05 Ford Explorer Minimal, 4. V6, SUV pull it? I have fat distribution hitch and sway manage, coming out of a Class III hitch that posts 7700lbs towing (with Bodyweight Distribution). My issue is the electrical power of the engine… and Does any person know if this “Class III” tow package deal incorporates a transmission cooler?
